Manchester City outcast Bernardo Corradi could soon be on the move to Reggina.

The 31-year-old striker failed to settle after arriving at The City of Manchester Stadium from Spanish side Valencia on a three-year deal in July 2006.

He was sent off on his Premier League debut and managed just three goals in 29 appearances before being shipped out on loan to Parma at the beginning of last season.

The 32-year-old could now be making a permanent return to Italy if talks between City and Reggina are successful.

The striker's agent Moreno Roggi told Radio Kiss Kiss: "Reggina are interested in him and he is interested in the amaranto club.

"However, in the middle are Manchester City and a contract for another season.

Good feeling

"We have to see how talks go between City and Reggina. On our part I can say that we are interested in that possibility because we consider that the Calabrians offer an environment which can give trust and good feeling to Bernardo.

"The player needs to feel appreciated and the 35,000 fans at the Granillo, with their warmth, can make him feel the faith he needs."

His move has more chance of occurring after Reggina sold veteran striker Nicola Amoruso to Torino.

But this transfer has also decreased the chances of fellow City misfit Rolando Bianchi moving from Manchester as he was reportedly close to securing a deal at Torino.
