Roberto Mancini's agent has insisted there is no truth in speculation linking the manager with CSKA Moscow.

Russian television station Sport reported over the weekend that Mancini was in advanced talks with CSKA.

However, Mancini's representative Giorgio De Giorgis has dismissed the rumours and explained that his client is not yet able to take up a new role.

"The Russian media are making a mistake, as there was no contact with CSKA and there are no negotiations in place right now," said De Giorgis.

"I really doubt Russia is a likely destination for him. Mancini is still under contract with Inter and only when that situation is resolved will he start to consider other benches."

Mancini was sacked by Internazionale at the end of last season despite leading his side to the Serie A title, with Jose Mourinho appointed as his replacement.

Mancini's contract did not expire until June 2012 and he has yet to agree any kind of compensation package.
