Soren Larsen

Larsen: Wants regular football

Denmark international Soren Larsen has joined Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse from Schalke.

The 26-year-old has spent the last three years in Germany, but he was largely restricted to a substitute role during his time in Gelsenkirchen.

Despite his lack of action, the forward became something of a cult figure at Veltins Arena due to his knack of scoring vital goals after stepping off the bench.

He will be hoping to take that goal scoring form with him to France, but will be looking to be handed more opportunities to make an impact from the start.

He has signed a four-year contract at Toulouse and has been charged with the task of filling the boots of the Bolton-bound Johan Elmander.
