Driver: Staying put
Hearts midfield starlet Andrew Driver insists he does not want to leave the club.
The highly-rated 20-year-old has been linked with a move to England, with Championship side Burnley twice failing to land him over the summer.
But Oldham-born Driver, who penned a five-year deal at Tynecastle in 2006, insists he is more than happy with life at Hearts.
"I've never come out and said anything because I'm happy here," he told the Daily Record.
"If I stay here I'm happy. I've still got three years left on my contract so there isn't a problem.
"All we wanted to do was talk about things but it's all been taken out of proportion. Nothing has ever come to me about Burnley. I've heard nothing about that so I can't act on it.
"I've just got to get my head down and play for Hearts. I'm a Hearts player and I'm happy here and that's as far as it goes.
"You see the stories but until someone came to me to say it was happening I didn't have a decision to make.
"I've never once said I'm not happy here. The club has given me my first step in first-team football and I've got to repay them. I've signed a contract that has another three years on it and I've got to give 100 per cent however long I'm here.
"I like Edinburgh, I've got all my friends and my whole family is here so there's nothing pushing me to want to move now."
