Best: Wanted by Forest
Coventry insist that striker Leon Best will still be at the Ricoh Arena next season.
The Sky Blues were responding to claims that Championship rivals Nottingham Forest are set to renew their interest in the forward.
Best handed in a transfer request last season in an attempt to secure a move to his hometown club, but Forest were unable to meet Coventry's valuation.
Chris Coleman insists that the situation has not changed since then, and fully expects the 21-year-old to be in contention once the 2008/09 campaign gets underway on 9th August.
"He has got so much ability and Leon is certainly not someone that we are looking to sell," Coleman told BBC Radio Warwickshire.
"We are looking to build a team with good players. Leon certainly fits into that, he has looked excellent in pre-season."
