Laporta: Eto'o talks

Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists he is not interested in signing Juventus striker David Trezeguet.

New manager Pep Guardiola is understood to be keen to bring a number of new faces to Camp Nou this summer and he has been linked with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor and Didier Drogba.

And with Laporta also revealing the Catalan club have held talks with Italian duo Inter and AC Milan over the possible transfer of Samuel Eto'o, a forward is believed to be a priority.

However, Laporta insists that neither Inter nor Milan have made an offer for Eto'o and he is adamant that Barca will not be making any new signings.

"Trezeguet is not a player who interests us. He's a great player, but our squad is now complete," Laporta told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The group is fine as it is, we're only waiting to see how the situation with Eto'o will develop."

Laporta also stressed that there was no concrete interest from Serie A in Eto'o.

"Barca have not received any offer from any Italian club, although we have spoken with Inter and Milan," he added.
