Manchester United chief executive David Gill says he is not interested in replacing Brian Barwick at the Football Association.

Gill has been strongly linked with replacing Barwick as the FA's chief executive when Barwick quits his role in December.

Barwick announced last week he will be leaving his job leaving The FA with a position to be filled.

However, Gill, who is already an FA board member, says he has no plans to succeed Barwick as he is happy at Old Trafford.

"I've got a great job at Manchester United, I'm happy to work with the FA but I have a full-time job here," Gill told Sky Sports News.
