Lumsdon: Worry
Injured Carlisle midfielder Chris Lumsdon has revealed his concerns about his future with the club.
Lumsdon has been ruled out of action until November with a back problem - the worst injury of his career - that he picked up in the pre-season clash against Partick Thistle.
The 28-year-old now fears that the competition for places is so fierce at Brunton Park this year that he may not regain a spot in the side with his worries compounded further by the fact he is out of contract next July.
"You think you might not get another game because the lads are doing so well," he told The Cumberland News.
"The competition is so strong now and that's a good thing, because it makes everyone play that much better.
"But it does mean you've got less chance of getting back in the team if the lads are up there in the league.
"I'm out of contract at the end of the season so it's a bit worrying that way."
