Jackett: Five wins on the spin
The ninth weekend of League One action is upon us with a number of mouth-watering fixtures on the agenda.
Hartlepool United and Stockport County have Friday evening kick-offs against Swindon Town and Oldham Athletic respectively.
Danny Wilson's Hartlepool take on a struggling Swindon side at Victoria Park, with the visitors currently 16th in the table and without a win in four outings.
Second-placed Oldham travel to recent draw specialists Stockport looking to keep their unbeaten start to the season intact, while aiming to reclaim their spot at the summit.
Peterborough United and Leeds United, who have recorded four straight successes, get Saturday's games underway with a midday kick-off at London Road.
Scunthorpe United, currently third, are in terrific form, having won six consecutive matches, and take on Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road.
Millwall are also in impressive temper and manager of the month Kenny Jackett is readying his charges to lock horns with MK Dons, who have endured patchy form this term.
Top-of-the-table Leicester City, who have strung together three successive victories, travel North to take on 15th-positioned Huddersfield Town.
At the wrong end of the standings, League One new boys Hereford - a side that have managed one win to date - host Jimmy Mullen's currently play-off-placed Walsall.
Cheltenham Town are also in desperate need of a reprieve, having lost five of their last seven matches, as they head to the South Coast to tackle Brighton & Hove Albion.
Stuart Gray's Northampton Town have not won since the opening day of the season and face fellow strugglers Crewe Alexandra in search of a remedy to their recent failings.
Southend United have recorded three consecutive victories and will be looking to extend that run when they go head-to-head with 22nd-placed Yeovil Town.
Elsewhere, out-of-sorts duo Colchester United and Bristol Rovers meet, while Carlisle United and Tranmere Roversare in action at Brunton Park.
