Rooney: Does not scare Belarus

Belarus insist they are not scared of England striker Wayne Rooney ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier.

Rooney netted twice against Kazakhstan at Wembley at the weekend to help England to a 5-1 win, and take his personal international goals tally to four in as many games.

England travel to Minsk with a 100 per cent record in Group 6 and the Three Lions are hoping to secure a fourth successive win to mark their most successful opening to a World Cup qualifying campaign.

Manager Fabio Capello is again expected to name in-form Rooney in his starting XI on Wednesday, but Belarus striker Vitaly Bulyga is not concerned.

"We are not scared of Rooney," Bulyga said in The Sun.

"He is not unbeatable and as a human being he has weaknesses. We will use that."

Bulyga also expects Belarus to bring Capello's unbeaten record in competitive matches to an end.

"We are confident of beating England," he added.
