Lampard: Great form

Frank Lampard insists Chelsea will not be making any mistakes against Sunderland on Saturday.

The Blues are still coming to terms with losing their 86 game unbeaten home record to Liverpool last week.

They won at Hull in midweek but are now looking to get their home form going again when Sunderland come to the capital on Saturday.

'We've had tough games at home, it's been disappointing but there are no problems playing at home, and we've had great support," Lampard told Chelsea's website.

'We're all very professional and want to be winners. Losing the home record is something I'm personally not too concerned about.

"It's a question of not dwelling on Sunday [against Liverpool] and we don't want a hangover of that. It's important to get straight back.

"In the long term losing a home game is not important if you go on to win the league, so it's very important we don't let it get to us.

"People make an issue of it but we're three points behind with a lot of games to go."

Lampard, who scored a contender for goal of the season at Hull, is widely considered to be in the form of his life and the England star admits things are going well for him.

"I'm around my best, whether it's as good as I've played at times before I don't know, but I feel very confident and am fortunate to be playing in a team with great players around me who help me," he concluded.
