Champions Lyon have extended their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to seven points after a 2-1 victory over Bordeaux at The Stade Gerland.

The result was a hard fought one for Claude Puel's men - who took victory over Bordeaux - who themselves would have moved second with victory.

Lyon were in control at the break as Karim Benzema and Kim Kallstron pounced.
