Amoah: Linked with move

NAC Breda star Matthew Amoah has ruled out a move to England when the transfer window reopens.

Amoah has been linked with a move to the Premier League following his goalscoring exploits for club and country.

The 28-year-old Ghanaian is the second highest goalscorer in the Eredivisie this term with 11 goals in 11 games helping NAC to joint-top spot in the table.

Everton and Middlesbrough have been credited with an interest in the former Borussia Dortmund ace with a number of scouts watching him in action this season.

Amoah admits he is aware of the rumours, but insists he is focused on achieving success with NAC this season.

"I have read some of these reports but all I can say is that I will not move in this January transfer window if there is any move at all," Amoah told Football365.co.za.

"I am at this moment concentrating on helping NAC in the league and hoping to win trophies for the club."
