Czech Republic moved into second spot in Group Three after a 3-0 win over San Marino.

After a frustrating first-half the Czechs showed their class to run out convincing winners over the group's whipping boys.

Radoslav Kovac grabbed the vital breakthrough for the Czechs two minutes after the break.

Zdenek Pospech added a second for the visitors on 53 minutes and Tomas Necid wrapped up the victory with a third seven minutes from time.

The win for the Czech's boosts their hopes of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup, while Northern Ireland drop down to fifth spot in the group.
