Rodgers: Heading to Huish Park

Yeovil have finally completed the protracted loan signing of Luke Rodgers from Port Vale.

Rodgers had been poised for a move to Huish Park for over a week, but the two clubs were unable to agree terms.

However, Yeovil came in with a second bid and the move has now gone through to enable Rodgers to make the switch.

Rodgers, 26, has joined Yeovil on an emergency loan until 5th January when Glovers boss Russell Slade is then understood to have the option to buy the former Shrewsbury man.

"Luke has joined Yeovil on an emergency loan until 5th January following talks he's had with the club in the past few days," Vale secretary Bill Lodey told the club's official website.
