Brown: Determined
Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown is determined to try and win a regular run in Gordon Strachan's side.
Brown played three games on the spin earlier this month when Artur Boruc was out injured.
Boruc returned to the starting line-up for the last two games as he is the established No.1 at Parkhead.
However, Brown is keen to fight for his place and take his chance when it comes along.
"Things have been going good lately and it's obviously been good to get a few games under my belt, because it can be difficult at times when you are not playing in the first team," Brown told Celtic View.
"You want to be involved and I might not have been involved as much as I would have liked, but when the opportunity comes your way, you just look forward to going out and playing.
"You have to give your all in training and in every game you play.
"Even though that opportunity might come in reserve games, you have to go out there and produce.
"You have a duty to your team-mates, and also to the coaches Willie McStay and Danny McGrain, to go out and do your best.
"I don't think you can come in and not try.
"We are paid to be footballers and whether you are playing or not, you have to come in and give 100%."
"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't difficult but, at the end of the day, that's the situation I am in.
"There's absolutely no point moaning and groaning about it, you just have to get your head down and get on with it."
