Lita: Open to Canaries stay
Norwich City's on-loan striker Leroy Lita is hoping to extend his stay at Carrow Road into a third month.
The Reading forward is currently nearing the end of his second month-long spell with the Norfolk club and is enjoying his time in East Anglia.
The DR Congo-born hit-man has five goals to his name from 10 Championship starts and sees no reason why his loan cannot be extended again.
"Yeah, why not," Lita told the Pink'Un on the prospect of staying with Norwich for a third month.
"I'm playing and enjoying it down here so I've got no problem with that.
"I've not spoken about it. I think I've got another two weeks left so we'll see then."
Norwich boss Glen Roeder is pleased with Lita's form and hopes Reading will be open-minded when it comes to the striker's availability.
"I don't see why, if things are going okay at Reading and assuming Leroy wants to carry on playing first-team football, that Reading don't leave him here for the third month," said the ex-Newcastle manager.
"I know Reading's greatest concern is in January, when his contract runs out at the end of the year, that they try and capitalise on getting something for him rather than allowing him to leave on, basically, a Bosman next year."
