Parfait Mandanda is believed to have travelled to England for trials with a number of clubs.

Mandanda, brother of Marseille's number one Steve, is also a highly-rated shot-stopper.

The 19-year-old has become frustrated with life at Bordeaux and wants to leave.

Mandanda junior, who plays his international football for DR Congo, as opposed to France like his brother, said: "In Bordeaux it is difficult to move Ulrich Rame [number one], he is firmly rooted.

"So I have now chosen to leave."

It is believed Mandanda will have trials with clubs such as Arsenal, Cardiff and Manchester during his trip to England.
