Fabregas: Likes Milan's style
Cesc Fabregas admits that he would choose to join AC Milan, if he was to ever leave Arsenal to play in Italy.
Spanish midfielder Fabregas has often been linked with a return to former club Barcelona, who he left to sign for Arsenal as a teenager.
However, he has regularly pledged his commitment to the Gunners and was recently named as the club's new skipper after William Gallas was stripped of the captaincy.
Though the 21-year-old has no plans to leave Emirates Stadium, he has discussed which Italian club he would sign for, if he wanted to play in Serie A.
Fabregas is a fan of Milan's style and believes a move to the San Siro, where former Arsenal team-mate Mathieu Flamini plays, would best suit his own abilities.
"If I were to come to Italy, I would choose Milan without a doubt," Fabregas, who was an instrumental figure in knocking Milan out of last season's UEFA Champions League, told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In my opinion, the Rossoneri are the side that play the best football in Italy.
"There are so many strong sides in Italy - Inter, Juventus and Roma, for example - but they seem to rely too much on their star names.
"While those three teams struggle when they lose their big names, Milan's strength is based on the unit.
"I think it's a winning mentality and a philosophy that I share with the way I play."
