Lens have confirmed receiving offers from the Premier League for Aruna Dindane, but insist the striker will not leave on loan.

Dindane is rumoured to be a target for Portsmouth, Stoke City and West Brom, while Tottenham are the latest club to have been linked.

Reports have suggested that interested clubs want to sign the Ivory Coast forward on loan with a view to a permanent deal as he has not played since May due to a knee injury.

However, Lens chairman Gervais Martel insists Dindane will only move permanently and says the Ligue 2 club have yet to receive a suitable bid.

Some offers

"We have some offers," admitted Martel to Le 10 Sport.

"One thing is for sure - Aruna won't be loaned out, he will be transferred permanently.

"We have started to receive transfer offers. We have a few offers from England, but they are not alone.

"I can just say the fee stated in the press is clearly not enough. If we don't receive offers that will satisfy us, we will keep him until the end of the season."
