Promising Liverpool left-back Robbie Threlfall could be set for a surprise loan move to Djurgardens, skysports.com understands.

The Swedish club are keen to bolster their ranks and have earmarked Threlfall as a potential loan acquisition.

Threlfall, who has in the past impressed during loan stints away from Anfield, is eager for a spell away from Merseyside in a bid to garner more experience of first team football

Skysports.com has learnt Djurgardens have made an approach to Liverpool, who will now mull over the deal.

If given permission by his parent club, Threlfall could fly out to Sweden on Thursday to discuss a potential move to the top flight outfit.
