Santa Cruz: Wants Rovers exit
Roque Santa Cruz has again stressed it is his desire to leave Blackburn Rovers for a bigger club this summer.
Despite failing to hit the heights of his first season in the Premier League - largely due to injury - where he bagged 19 league goals, the 27-year-old still has plenty of suitors in England.
Reports suggest that the Paraguay international has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave Ewood Park in the summer for £20million.
That sum is unlikely to deter Manchester City who were left frustrated by Rovers unwillingness to sell their prized asset in January.
"I would not mind moving on, if it was a big team and if the conditions were right," the striker told Paraguayan radio station 970 AM.
"People are interested in what is going to happen to players next season. Rumours come from somewhere, but there is nothing official."
Meanwhile Rovers look to certain to miss out on the possible loan signing of Barcelona striker Bojan.
Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce had supposedly made an informal offer for the 18-year-old, but after the youngster netted in the Catalan side's 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday his agent has stated that he is going nowhere.
