Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan insists all members of last season's Selhurst Park squad will be paid the outstanding money that they are owed.

Reports have suggested that a number of players have been angered after failing to receive wages and bonuses from the end of the 2008/09 season.

Existing squad members are said to have not received annual bonuses, while released players, such as James Scowcroft, Paul Ifill and Shefki Kuqi, have not been paid their salary for June.

Jordan, though, is adamant that all players will receive the money owed to them by the Championship club.

Bonus payments

He told Palace's official website: "Neil Warnock and the players were informed some weeks ago that bonus payments would be paid at the end of July this year and there were no issues with that and neither should there have been.

"The bonus payments are paid annually at my discretion in either June or July and this year they will be paid in July.

"Those members of the playing staff who are staying have been paid in the normal way and those that are leaving will be paid by cheque.

"This method is used for our own administrative reasons and makes good business sense.

"Every player under the chairmanship of Simon Jordan has always been paid and that will always remain the case."
