Watford have re-signed former star Heidar Helguson on loan from QPR.

As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month Watford have been leading the chase for the Icelandic international.

Helguson established himself as a firm favourite at Vicarge Road during his five years at the club scoring 64 goals in 148 starts before joining Fulham.

The 32-year-old has agreed a loan deal until December at Watford and could make his second debut against Leicester this weekend.

Helguson is the second loan signing of the week for Watford following the capture of Craig Cathcart from Manchester United.
