Thierry Henry has been indefinitely ruled out of Barcelona's UEFA Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday with a thigh injury.

The Frenchman picked up the problem in the early stages of Barca's 2-0 win at Malaga on Saturday and was immediately withdrawn.

The 32-year-old could yet be out for longer and the club will look to further assess the problem in the next few days.

Summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, himself thought to be struggling with an ankle injury, replaced Henry and duly opened the scoring 10 minutes after coming on.

Recent arrival Dmitro Chygrinskiy also hobbled off against Malaga but the defender cannot play in the Champions League having played in the competition already this season with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Meanwhile Barca manager Pep Guardiola is expected to hand Andres Iniesta his first start of the season against Kiev.

The midfielder was out for the majority of the summer with a thigh injury and has been bedded back into first-team action carefully by Guardiola having come off the bench four times in recent weeks.
