Peter Crouch insists Spurs are looking forward to returning to winning ways against Sunderland and are not dwelling on their Arsenal defeat.

Harry Redknapp's troops came unstuck last weekend after slipping to a heavy 3-0 defeat to their North London rivals at Emirates Stadium.

The defeat was Spurs' fourth in the Premier League this season, however, Crouch insists his team-mates have not let the loss affect them.

The former Portsmouth ace believes Spurs have had a good campaign to date and is not letting the defeat knock confidence going forward.

Looking forward

"We're looking forward to the next game," he told the club's official website. "We'll pick ourselves up.

"We've had a good season so far and can't let that kick us back down because we have enough ability in the dressing room to kick on, starting against Sunderland.

"We have done fantastically well this season. We've had blips against the big teams but we have enough about us to win the matches that are getting thrown at us - and then we're in with a chance.

"Other teams are dropping points and if we take advantage of that we'll be right up there where we want to be at the end of the season."

One off

Crouch is treating their defeat to Arsenal as a one off and believes they can get back to winning ways with easier matches on the horizon.

"It's one defeat. Man City drew and Liverpool lost last week, there are plusses and we haven't dropped that many points," he continued.

"We're fifth in the league and can't complain with that, and there are matches coming up that are winnable. If we're organised and do our jobs we'll get those points and push ourselves right back in there."
