Gabriel Heinze scored against his former club Paris Saint Germain to give Marseille a 1-0 win at the Stade Velodrome.

The only goal of the game arrived after 25-minutes as Heinze headed home to give the hosts victory against their bitter rivals from the capital.

Marseille dominated for much of the game and deservedly took the three points which lifts them into fourth.

The loss keeps PSG floundering in mid-table.

A huge police operation was in place around the stadium to try and keep the crowd under control and no major incidents were reported.
