Former Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan has retracted his latest blast at new chairman Carson Yeung.

The pair have fallen out dramatically following Blues' takeover with Yeung unhappy at discovering a number of unpaid bills.

Yeung has taken legal action over the running of the club while Sullivan has hit back at the Hong Kong businessman, citing his past career in hairdressing.

Retract

Sullivan now realises the back-biting is not helping the St Andrews club move forward and would like to retract his recent comments.

"Our bitter fall-out just won't help the club," Sullivan told the Birmingham Mail. "I want to retract the rude remarks I've made.

"When I dismissed him as a hairdresser and gave my opinion on how they were trying to woo fans, these were knee-jerk comments I regret."
