Fellaini: Ready for Liverpool
Everton star Marouane Fellaini admits the club need to stop using their injuries as an excuse.
The Toffees have been hugely hampered by injuries this term, which has played a part in their relatively poor start to the season.
Everton currently sit in 14th, with just four wins to their name - but Fellaini insists they can kick-start their season when they host local rivals Liverpool on Sunday in a match you can see live on Sky Sports 1 & HD1 from 1pm.
"Pressure is part of the game, we have got to go out there, do our best and try and win," the Belgian midfielder told Sky Sports News.
"It is no good looking over our shoulders towards the bottom. Of course we would prefer to be higher but we have to start winning games and do it as soon as possible
"We have the same set of players playing every game, and at the moment we are playing three games a week with Europe.
"So Sunday is a chance to put things right against Liverpool.
"We have got to get on with it, we have talked about having lots of injuries, and we can't keep using that as an excuse - we know the fans' frustration, we appreciate how good they are - and they and us can't give up because of a few bad results.
"They need to get behind us and we know that is what they will do. We will be okay on Sunday, it is our chance to prove our worth."
