Leeds manager Simon Grayson admits he would be 'surprised' if no new faces arrive at the club in January.

The Whites are currently sitting pretty at the top of the League One table but their manager is keen to make additions to his squad in order to keep improving.

Leeds have a number of players on loan at Elland Road until January and it remains to be seen whether they will extend their stays at the club.

Leicester City midfielder Max Gradel is one who has particularly caught the eye since his move, while Tony Capaldi, Hogan Ephraim, David Martin and Sam Vokes all have deals ending in the New Year.

Grayson says he is happy with the players currently at his disposal, but that he would not rule out making new additions when the transfer window opens.

"There are one or two players we'd like to sign," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"I've got one eye on (the transfer window) and I've got to think about which loan players could go back and what could make us better between now and the end of the season.

"I think we've got a good enough squad as it is but bringing one or two in is something we might do.

"I've had plenty of calls from agents trying to sell their players or get them loaned out.

"I'd be surprised if we don't bring anyone in but if we don't then we'll move on with what we've got.

"It's a good position to be in and I don't think we've had a problem attracting players.

"There's never been a situation where I've gone for a player and he's turned us down because he wanted to go somewhere else and found us not a big enough attraction.

"The likes of Tony Capaldi and Sam Vokes turned down teams from the Championship to come here."
