I think that Bulgaria will be the big surprise cause they have quality players like berbatov Stilian Petrov (Aston Villa), Martin Petrov(man C) and others playing in bundesliga. So i recon they will finish first beating us

I personally think that England and Wales will progress in group G but with Switzerland a close third. As for the other home nations they all have a tough task but i believe that they can all qualify

Gary Simpson we show respect to those who deserve it mate, and frankly Scotland don't. Can't see any hope whatsoever for our Darren Fletcher gracing a world cup because his teammates are inadequate. Spain anc Czech rep to finish top and second. I don't see Wales making it either, but our group is a fairly tough one. The swiss are well organised and Bulgaria are an enigma, if they turn up.

Rep Ireland's group is tough with the amount of travelling involved. Russia away is the stand out game for us. England's group is not straight forward. Don't underestimate the Swiss. They have the ability to get a result from both legs so I would think, Switzerland Home and Away, Wales Home and Away are the difficult games for England

Why do the Scots always complain that England get an easy group and they get a hard one ? Dont they realise that it is because England are a seeded nation due to past results and Scotland are not DUE TO PAST RESULTS that is how the seeds are decided, when Scotland start to win games their seeded points will increase giving them a higher FIFA ranking leading to a top seeded status resulting in an easy group

The standard of football in Europe is generally quite high, most groups have 3 or 4 teams that are decent ; and on their day will take points home or away! Englands group, while the media think is favourable, is not that easy because there are no obvious whipping boys like San Marino. Games away will be hard and hostile and the teams that come to Wembley will always want to cause an upset! I do think Capello is wise and will not over-inflate the heads of his players as some kind of morale boosting exercise...C'mon ENGLAND!!!

Was hoping we would avoid England but rather England than Germany or the Netherlands. Nice to read that our national team is quite respected in the UK. Come on Switzerland!

Well I couldnt be happier with the Rep of Irelands group. By all means it a tough group with the Russians and Slovaks but I think theres definitely a chance of claiming second spot and possibly first spot. Russia will be out for revenge against Slovakia because of their WC elimination. So a draw in the home and away game maybe would be great for the Republic. If we can maintain the same level of football that we played in the WC Qualification games then I see no reason why we cant claim first spot. If Trap could also draft in Nolan from Newcastle and maybe Cahill of Bolton that would benefit us. Theres a few young Irish players up and coming so this could also do us no harm, a bit of competition for spots. We really need another striker to at least challenge Keano, for me Doyle if far superior at present to Keane. I was hoping we would draw England or France but wasn¿t meant to be. Also I think England should walk there group, people that call this a hard group ought to have a second glance at their opponents¿no real competition. But I do think Wales are been written off too easily realy¿they have a few players coming through the ranks. I can really see them pushing the Swiss all the way¿So best of luck to ye. Scotland dealt a hard group too, I find it hard to see them qualify but I hope I¿m proven wrong¿Getting any points of them would be a wonderful result for them¿but it¿s the weaker teams I worry about..they do ten d to make it harder for themselves against the¿smaller teams¿.

Really like the draw from a Welsh perspective! Not the hardest of the top seeds by any means in spite of what a lot of deluded England fans think! Could have had Germany,(again!) italy, Spain or Hollamd who would have been much tougher! We're getting better all the time & our young players should give England a decent couple of games. As for the others, we could have had far tougher seeds from each pot. Switzerland are a decent side but not unbeatable, likewise Bulgaria. I couldn't have picked a harder lower seeded team than Montenegro though! The only reason they're so low is because they've played hardly any games. Ourselves & England underestimate them at our peril! They're not a bad side at all! C'MON CYMRU!

Lets be honest guys, it is stupid to be writing off other countries chances straight away, the good thing about the euro's and world cup's is the fact they are all so unpredictable.

England to walk the qualifying group, then knocked out in euro quarters. Ironically the same stage we will reach this summer in South Africa....

Oh no not Switzerland! Anything but the team that lost to the mighty Luxembourg in the World Cup qualification campaign. In the same way that people think that Ghana are great because they have Essien, I can't see Berbatov getting Bulgaria that far with the amount of effort he puts in. The fact is the draw is done entirely into FIFA's hands to get the best teams into the Euro's.

Its not what I would call an easy group by any means but I wouldn't say its all that tough either. We should be beating Wales and Montenegro home and away without too much trouble. Bulgaria are hardly world beaters either and we should be very confident in beating them. Switzerland may pose the biggest threat in the group but I would definately pick to play them ahead of Croatia and Russia. All in all I think it should be a fairly comfortable group which we should finish top by a considerable margin.

I have to laugh at all the England fans that think they have got it easy in their group i think they might struggle especially away from home. And again England fans writing off Scotland and Wales chances of qualifying i hope we prove all of you wrong and you wonder why England fans are hatred so much show a little respect eh!!

as a proud english man i have to be honest and say that most times we do get the easy draw, but we allways make hard work of it,as for winning the world cup,no chance,we are not good enough

This is by far englands hardest group for a while, switz are constanly in the world cup an euro, and bulgaria have some quality players, to be honest i dont see why wales cant cause an upset they should take a chance, because they got nout to lose, and just attack every team, expecialy england. Dont forget montenegro they have a unusually good squad and can play football decently...

Group E looks to be the toughest. The 2 minnows will give up points, but the other 4 squads will have to be at their best to move on.

Good draw for all home nations i think. they all have a chance of atleast getting to the play offs. But whats the point in half these teams being there! San Marino, Andorra, Fareo Island. there poor and are just whipping boys. Change the format Please!!
