Arsenal hero Nicklas Bendtner insists he will not get carried away by his hat-trick heroics against Porto.
Bendtner answered his critics after his showing against Burnley in stunning style with a devastating treble in the 5-0 victory over Porto on Tuesday night.
The Danish international made amends for an off day against Burnley with two goals in the opening 15 minutes before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the closing stages.
"Every time I play a game I put it behind me as soon as it's finished," Bendtner told Sky Sports 2.
"Sometimes it's one of those days and today I put it right.
"I'm happy with my hat-trick but we move on.
"It was good to score early but I don't know if that affected my game."
"It will give us a lot of confidence," added Bendtner. "We want to win the Champions League. It's something we haven't done.
"We scored all our chances which is very positive."
