Luis Fabiano is back to full fitness and hoping to help Sevilla into the last eight of the Champions League.

The Brazil international has returned to Spain ahead of the end of season run-in, having recently spent time in his homeland recovering from a muscular complaint.

He insists he is now raring to go once more and is adamant Sevilla can wrap up a positive season by progressing to the latter stages of European competition and securing a top four finish in the Primera Liga.

"The team is building towards an excellent campaign and there are some very important matches coming up," said Fabiano.

"I am now in the best physical condition I can be, as I only ever play at 100 per cent.

"My objective now is to make the return match with CSKA Moscow in the Champions League."

Quality

Sevilla hold the upper hand heading into their home date with CSKA on Tuesday.

A 1-1 draw in Russia saw them snatch a priceless away goal and Fabiano believes the Andalusian outfit can now start planning for a place in the quarter-finals.

"This Sevilla side is capable of making history in the Champions League," he told the club's official website.

"We have the quality to beat the Russians and to start preparing ourselves for the next round."
