Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes playmaker Cesc Fabregas is out of their weekend trip to Hull City barring a miracle.

Fabregas hobbled out of last weekend's win over Burnley with a hamstring strain that curtailed his involvement against Porto.

It had been thought the talented Spaniard would be fit for the trip to East Yorkshire, but Wenger is not holding out much hope of him being available.

Wenger says Fabregas has only a slim chance of featuring at the KC Stadium, while he will give more time to Czech ace Tomas Rosicky.

Miracle

"His chances of playing are 0.5 per cent - that means unless a miracle happens, he will not play," explained Wenger.

"At the moment, Cesc is out of Saturday's game.

"We have a little doubt about [Tomas] Rosicky (groin), but we will check that tomorrow morning.

"Nobody else is back, but we will lose [Alex] Song, because he is suspended."

Unsurprised

Meanwhile, Wenger was not surprised to see Manchester United destroy AC Milan in UEFA Champions League action in midweek.

The Red Devils took a 3-2 advantage to Old Trafford and made no mistake in the second leg after running out convincing 4-0 winners.

While many expected the tie to go either way Wenger was not surprised that Sir Alex Ferguson's troops put Milan to the sword.

"It was not a surprise," the Arsenal manager said.

"The game was never in doubt after the first leg, which put Milan in a position where they had to chase, go on a big gamble in the second leg, and of course Manchester United punished them.

"The decider was in the first game. In the heads of Milan, it was already all over."
