Swindon scored late to hold leaders Norwich, while Charlton slipped up against Gillingham.
It took Norwich 51 minutes to find the net against chasers Swindon who held their own throughout the first-half against the league leaders.
That man Grant Holt again found the scoresheet, heading home from close range to take his tally to 28 for the season.
It took a while for Swindon to react, but they hit back in stoppage time through defender Gordon Creer to steal a crucial point in the race for automatic promotion.
Charlton, however, slipped up in their press for promotion with only a point against Gillingham despite having taken the lead at The Valley.
Ex-Leeds United midfielder Frazer Richardson found the net for the Addicks with a rocket shot from a long way out but he barely had time to celebrate when Gills frontman Andy Barcham blasted home from outside the area just one minute later.
