Defender could return from injury against Plymouth

Fitz Hall has suggested he would be keen on a permanent deal at Newcastle United when his loan from Queens Park Rangers finishes. The defender has made six appearances for the Magpies since joining in the January transfer window and is enjoying his time in the North East. He could return from a hamstring injury for the game at Plymouth Argyle on Monday night when Newcastle can clinch the Championship title. Hall is due to return to his parent club at the end of the campaign, and will then await developments as Magpies boss Chris Hughton assesses what is required for life in the Premier League. "My views haven't changed from when I first came here," said the 29-year-old. "I came here on the basis of I wanted to get some games under my belt at a massive club like Newcastle and see where it takes me. "It's a massive club and anyone if they had a chance to sign for Newcastle, they would be stupid to turn it down. "But at the end of the day, my contract here is to the end of the season and I have still got two more years at QPR."
