Holland striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar maintains he has no intention of leaving AC Milan this summer.

The 26-year-old struggled to settle following his £15million move from Real Madrid last summer and finished his first season in Serie A with seven goals from 25 league appearances, although only 11 were starts.

Huntelaar has been linked with moves to Tottenham and Benfica and despite sporting director Ariedo Braida saying last month he was not for sale, speculation continues over a summer switch.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen to bolster his attacking options after Spurs secured a place in next season's UEFA Champions League qualifiers and he is reportedly ready to offload Robbie Keane to Aston Villa.

But Huntelaar, who has another three years on his Milan contract, insists he is determined to prove himself in Italy before thinking about moving on.

No approaches

"I see my name in the Italian newspapers and I don't understand why," he said.

"I would like to know who has said that I will be sold, because it doesn't seem like anyone from the club has said anything.

"No other club interests me. My agent has never spoken about a transfer and I want to stay at Milan.

"I will not leave Milan until I have demonstrated my worth."

Huntelaar is currently in South Africa preparing for Holland's World Cup campaign.
