Hull City striker Kamel Ghilas is set to move to French side Arles-Avignon on a season-long loan.

The 26-year-old arrived last summer for £2.6million from Celta Vigo under Phil Brown but made just a handful of appearances for the Tigers as they were relegated to the Championship.

The Algeria international still has three years remaining on his current deal, but with chairman Adam Pearson desperate to free up funds and cut their wage bill Ghilas has been deemed surplus to requirements.

Ghilas managed just one goal in 13 appearances for the club, with that strike coming against Bolton last August, and will be looking to get his career back on track at the newly-promoted Ligue 1 outfit.
