Steven Fletcher is a major doubt for Scotland's Euro 2012 qualifying game against Liechtenstein at Hampden on Tuesday.

Fletcher is expected to have his foot injury assessed by the Hampden medical team but manager Craig Levein is not expected to take any risks with the Wolves striker.

Defenders Lee Wallace and Kevin McNaughton have been called up to the squad after missing the draw in Lithuania through injury while Steven Whittaker is struggling with a calf knock and will be assessed.

Striker Chris Iwelumo (hamstring) is out while goalkeeper Iain Turner has been drafted in to the squad after David Marshall hurt his elbow.

Scotland assistant manager Peter Houston said: "Whittaker might not train today (Sunday) but should be okay.

"Fletcher will be assessed and the physios and doctors will let us know.

"Iwelumo is out, he didn't turn up, he was struggling.

"But Lee Wallace has turned up and he will do some work with the physios and Kevin McNaughton will join us."

Priority

Houston insists that victory is a priority against the section minnow on Tuesday night.

"You never get an easy game at international level," he said.

"What we will come up against is a team who will be as well organised as they possibly can be.

"We know what we are up against; we know it will be difficult.

"It would be nice to go out and score a lot of goals and if it is comfortable then great.

"However, I don't think you can be disrespectful of any country.

"If you put 11 players behind the ball, sitting on their 18-yard line, you still have to create and score goals.

"But we can't put too much pressure on trying to score early goals, we just have to make sure we win the match and whether the goals come in the first half or the second half, it doesn't really matter.

"We are fully focused, the players' heads are up and we are looking forward to it.

"We will be delighted with getting three points."
