France defender Bacary Sagna is hoping Les Bleus can bounce back with a result against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday after their disappointing defeat to Belarus.

Laurent Blanc's side slumped to a 1-0 loss to Belarus in their opening Euro 2012 qualifier, and need to act fast if they are going to turn the tide after their World Cup debacle.

Sagna admits the defeat was a slap in the face but insists France can turn it around and get a result in Bosnia.

"We got a big slap, but tomorrow is another day, and we have to work again. We are scared to act badly," he told L'Equipe.

"It is annoying to start with a defeat, above all at home, but we must keep our head raised high, it was just the first match.

"In Bosnia on Tuesday, it won't be easy, but we will go there to win."

Blanc will still be without a number of key players for the Bosnia clash as they continue to serve suspensions from the French Football Federation after going on strike during the World Cup.
