Rochdale have made a move for Stockport's Owain Fon-Williams, skysports.com understands.

Dale are looking to bolster their goalkeeping options and have turned their attentions to the highly-rated Fon-Williams.

The 23-year-old Welsh keeper has recently completed a loan spell at Bury, where he impressed during an eight-game spell.

Dale have now made their move, although it is understood a number of Championship clubs are also trailing Fon-Williams.

Derby and Swansea are understood to be keeping tabs on his situation and could yet mount rival bids.
