Chelsea's a great club. It's a dream of every player to play at Chelsea. If one day it happens, I will be very happy to come.
Neymar
Quotes of the week
Brazil sensation Neymar has admitted it would be a dream come true to play for Chelsea.
Neymar enhanced his claims as one of the best young talents in the world with a virtuoso display in Brazil's 2-0 win over Scotland on Sunday.
The Santos attacker has been linked with a move to Europe for some time with all the top clubs on the continent chasing his signature.
Chelsea have held a long-term interest in the 19-year-old and Neymar has admitted he would be happy to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
"Chelsea's a great club," Neymar told Sky Sports News. "It's a dream of every player to play at Chelsea.
"If one day it happens, I will be very happy to come.
"When the moment comes we are going to sit with my family.
"We are going to think about it and discuss the options."
Chelsea tried to sign Neymar last summer, but the skilful forward did not feel the time was right to leave Brazil.
However, the teenager would give serious thought to a move to West London this summer if Chelsea come calling again for his services.
"Last year, when Chelsea came, we sat together and we thought it wasn't the time yet," added Neymar. "If it happens this year, we are going to sit again and are going to discuss about it."
Despite attracting interest from a host of clubs, Neymar insists he is happy at Santos for the time being.
"I am happy there and, when the time comes, God will make me take the right decision and things will happen," concluded Neymar.
Neymar's Brazilian team-mate David Luiz would love to see his compatriot join him at Stamford Bridge.
"Neymar is going to be one of the best players in the world and I would love it if he came to join me at Chelsea," said Luiz.
"I'm very happy to be at one of the best teams in the world and everything has been very positive.
"Chelsea are fighting for the Premier League and Champions League and I am sure that I'll become a better player.
"For Neymar it would be the same."

Do have to agree with Tim Sykes on this, honestly what player dreamt of playing for Chelsea? I know he's only young but even 10 years ago Chelsea were relatively nothing so when he was 9 did he dream of playing alongside Jesper Gronkaer and Tore Andre Flo? I doubt it. They dream of playing for Chelsea/Man City for one thing and it isn't for the history or pride. I'm a Leicester fan and as a kid growing up in the late 90's the only other English clubs I thought it would be a 'dream' to play for would be Liverpool and Man Utd due to there history and traditions. Those alongside Real, Barca and AC, Inter and Bayern are the real dream clubs for any footballer. In 50 years time people probably aren't going to remember that for a brief spell Man City were competive (remember Blackburn only 15 years ago) and Chelsea were leauge champions.

Everyone seems to forget that we just signed Piazon as well. With Alex there as well as Ramires and Luiz we only need a new right back and possibly another winger and a better back up goalkeeper then I will be satisfed. A team that plays well together is one that can communicate together. What better way than having a contingent of brazilians make your team look good, protected by the physical presence of essien, mikel, terry, ivanovic and drogba. wouldnt miss this for the world: Cech,Luiz,Terry,Cole,Van der Weil,Lampard,Ramires,Essien,Neymar, Torres, Sturridge

there alot of talk from jealous united and liverpool fans about this transfer sayin he a dumb player wit £££ for eyes but the fact of the matter is he wants to play for chelsea he is one of the biggest young prospects in world football and if he was all about money he would have put pen to paper at the last transfer window but he didnt bcuz he thought it wasnt the time any player only interested in money would not consider time as a factor they would jump at the opportunity and if he was all about money why wouldnt he say its my dream to play for manchester city if he wants 2 cum 2 england the guy wants to be playing top flight english football and he wants to play for chelsea and i think personally david luiz and ramires are a big factor in that decision not money top club top football top wages and top team-mates who wouldnt want to join chelsea if you were in his shoes

Juan Cartel, if Barca played in the EPL all their diving prima donnas would end up in hospital after playing the likes of Stoke City and Messi/Villa wouldn't rack up 80 goals a season because...wait for it...they'll be playing against actual defenders. Not only that, they'll have the footballing nightmare of having to play 38 tough games in a domestic season as opposed to 2. Ha ha at everybody calling Chelsea plastic, especially Liverpool fans. Before we gave you lot 50mil for Torres you'd outspent us for the last 4 years in transfers and fallen out of the top 4 in return! But yes, having dominated the transfer market for 20 years alongside the mancs it must be a bitter pill to swallow that an up and coming Brazilian doesn't give a damn about the trophies you collected years before he was even born!
