i think we should buy richardson from sunderland .. hes a great left midfeilder and would sort out or problems at the left hand side .. i think he would consider our offer as we are the scottish champions and were in the champions league

Neil Harding (Hull City fan) says...

Fortune with Frazier Campbell up front, then Owen off the bench as an impact player. Geovanni playing behind a front two. Mendy and Fagan down the flanks. All being fed by a fit Jimmy Bullard. Michael Turner and Anthony Gardner rocks in the rear. Love it. Paul Duffen and Phil Brown are building a squad that will make the armchair pundits eat their words. City going down. Not on your life

Neil Robertson (Arsenal fan) says...

If Spurs think Darren Bent is worth £18 million, why do they want to sell him. On the evidence of that price tag he`s their best player. Is it because thet paid too much in the first place. If Spurs want rid they should expect a more reasonable price. All change at Spurs they`ll either have a team with 8 new signings or buy back all the players they had in 2005. Comical!!!

I'm currently in Australia working and went into a bank in Sydney near where Tim Cahill grew up, got chatting to a member of staff who went to school with Tim and is a family friend, and he tells me Mr Cahill wants to leave England (hates the weather) with Italy his prefered destination, either this season or next! Ciao!

John Daniel (Everton fan) says...

everton needed to bring in 4 or 5 players to start with but after letting valente and van der meyde go we are gonna need 7 at least to make a decent sized squad, another season where major players are injured will not help in the push for 4th. hutton, van der vaart, defour, even owen would all be great for the club but i think we should bring in another centre half as well as keepin lescott as at the moment we have 2 fit ones selling lescott makes yobo the only one, if city really want lescott they should be paying at least 25m they bought barry for 12 lescott is a far better player and no we dont want jo in part of a deal. i just hope moyes buys early and wisely so we can have another great season come on you blues !! ignashevich

Matt Tebay (Manchester City fan) says...

It makes me laugh how just because the Liverpool fans have read in the paper or have seen on gossip sites that Utd want to bid for Torres! Utd are going to get linked with everyone and the papers are rinsing all you fans by putting any old rubbish on the back pages just so that people will buy them and read them! How long will it take you to realise that a deal is never done until you see the player in the shirt and scarf along side the manager!!

Daniel Brereton says...

Torres- United? Ha ha, the newspapers get worse. United fans wouldn't want the baby face playing for them. I personally would much rather have David Villa as I think he's a better player and his goalscoring record for Spain shows that. He has been majestic in the confederations cup thus far. As for who United should sign, it looks like Valencia will go but i'm not sure £16m is a fair fee as he is pretty much unproven on the bigger stages. Benzema would be a great signing as he is great with both feet, quick thinking striker and would get quite a few goals which is what we need without Ronaldo there now. As for Rooney, I think it's time he was played up top in the role he plays for England as he is much more effective and bid for a replacement on the left wing and Berbatov really needs to start showing the form he did for Tottenham. A world class holding midfielder is also required with all the injuries Owen Hargreaves has had. Don't write off United next season though, they will still be up there.

Jack Mcmad (Liverpool fan) says...

As a Liverpool fan I am resigned to the fact that we are going to lose our best players this summer. Alonso is not happy with Rafa keep trying to sell him when he feels someone better is on the Market, and Mascherano wants a move to Spain. I just hope we don't end up like Leeds, having a go to topple United, failing, then freefalling down the leagues cash strapped and playerless.

Gary Hollern (Sunderland fan) says...

I would be happy with Zakora and Bent, not an ex mag or a failed beanpole

Jamie Hughes (Liverpool fan) says...

HA! Chelsea aparently made a bid for torres. How do these crazy newspaper people come up with such ludicrous suggestions of chelsea bidding for torres. The english clubs must know the only club torres is interested on playing for is liverpool so i wish them stupid newspaper people stop suggesting such stupid comments. It annoyes me. Stupid people.

Shauna H (Manchester United fan) says...

I would love to see Ribery at Man United to replace Ronaldo. Benzema replacing Tevez, A good right-back like Sergio Ramos filling in that spot as Neville is way way past his best, O'Shea is rubbish (I dont know how he gets into the team) and I think Rafael needs to get some more experience and maybe a attacking midfielder in the shape of Wesley Sneijder. Or Maybe, United should sell Berbatov (shouldn't of bought him in the first place, he is so lazy) replace him with Eto'o, Maybe sell Nani and buy Antonio Valencia. And Just sell Neville and O'Shea. Giggs should be captain not Neville and when Giggs retires Fergie should give the captaincy to Ferdinand, Vidic or Rooney.

Bob Bobson (Manchester United fan) says...

From what i gather... bosingwa to bayern munich, maicon to chelsea, liverpool have signed johnson but will havto sell to buy if they want more, robinho to stay with city luis fabiano a possibility for hughes, if united agree tevez deal- no benzema, tevez leaves benzema deal is on . valencia is making his decision between real and united, united offer 16m despite real offering 18m, reports from holland suggest van der vaart could be on his way to man united, chelsea or bayern for 10-15m due to lack of appearances and the arrival of kaka and ronaldo to come. van persie to united is rubbish, city monitor his contract negotiations, though a move to milan/inter looks most iminent if talks breakdown. torres alledgedly does not want to leave liverpool, however spanish media suggest that torres and david villa aspire to play for the same club, valencia and liverpool wouldnt be possible, real madrid wouldnt be able to convince torres, chelsea have enquired about villa, and also torres in the past. Man united are working under the radar to sign david silva potentially swaying david villa in the same direction, although torres to united i unfortunately say is the longshot of the decade. bolton close in on new centre forward, blackburn eyeing possible replacements for santa cruz. thats all for now folks...

Craig Caldwell (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...

If Spurs could land Ashley Young for me a far greater left sided option than Downing, it would be a masterstroke as both David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas have not produced there potential on a regular level and have had their chance. This would bring a great balance to the side. Imagine Lennon on the right Young down the left and Santa Cruz in the middle, stop me now it can¿t happen can it? But dont forget Harry we need cover for Ledley as well..

Posted 09:01 17th June 2009

Ben Smith (Chelsea fan) says...

I think Chelsea are right to let Carvalho and Deco go, Tevez would be a great signing along with Sergio Aguero. I feel we need to boost our attacking options, Daniel Sturridge would fit in well at Chelsea, I would like to see Ashley Young and Micah Richards maybe David Bentley. I think we need more young talent this country has got so many good young players and i feel they are just what Chelsea need. Ancelotti and Abramovich should look at who they want to buy and I think they need to start spending before it's to late.

Posted 10:46 16th June 2009

Liam Mccullaugh (Manchester United fan) says...

united need to strengthen their squad before madrid snap up the talent in the market. wingers should be our priority with ronaldo leaving and left wing being filled by rooney for the most part of last season, tevez would be a great investment as he knows the squad, united's style and is a fans favourite. not convinced that valencia is worth the £16mil price tag considering he is not established in the bigger competitions, though his pace will prove useful if berbatov is to play a part next season. whoever fergie chooses is bound to be of a high standard, but will our reputation make the £80million stretch as far as it might do for arsenal?

Dee Moran (Liverpool fan) says...

i would love to see saviola come to liverpool, hes a quality striker but at real madrid he never got his chance! as well as saviola micah richards would get welcomed with open arms! he's got great prospects! Torres to united? dont be so stupid, that would never happen!

Posted 16:12 14th June 2009

Jon Handy (Liverpool fan) says...

hahahahaha Torres to manu, made me laugh at the thought fergie would even consider us selling him, let alone to themancs, desperate times for them i think
