I think Arsenal will come good at Anfield and beat Liverpool. United will beat Roma, Barca will go through and Chelsea will win 1-0 at the Bridge and win on the away goal. Arsenal will beat Chelsea in the semi's and Barca will stun United for an Arsenal v Barca final.

I think the teams in the semi finals will be Barcelona,Liverpool,Chelsea and Man U. Even thought chelsea are 2-1 down at the moment they don't often get beaten at stamford bridge. Also with Chelsea having such great players I think they can beat Fenerbahce 2-0 at least. Come on you blues!

Mancheter United have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Lverpool 2-0, 4-0, and 3-0 respectively this season. This is a big psychological boost, and I am sure they can repeat these feats all over again. Barcelona can be beaten,; they are not too strong at the moment even though Schalke 04 can still spring a surprise. If Man U reaches the final, then they will be turbo-charged to carry the day. I wish them all the luck.

liverpool to beat arsenal, man u to finish off roma, barcelona to beat schalke and fenerbahce to stun chelsea. man u and liverpool to contest the final, man u to win in 50 years after munich.

Greg Speight says...

Utd to go through easily as Roma are now more interested in kicking Ronaldo than scoring. Barca to go through to set up a big semi - not sure about Barca's defence these days though so it could be a high scoring tie with Vidic also potentially out. Liverpool will do the same to Arsenal as they have to Chelsea in previous years - frustrate them to death and nick the goal to clinch the tie. Chelsea could provide the upset of the round by going out to Fenerbache - either way Liverpool will win out in the semi. Liverpool v Barca final - Liverpool to win.

John Mccarthy says...

The sooner Liverpool fans realise they will never win the league under Benitez the better. He may have a proven European record but it suits him to produce boring teams who do not try to win away from home. THis maybe O.K in Europe but again they have not performed away in the league. Torres was a great siging but for that money he should be....

Graham Degville says...

What Arsenal did to Pool was embarrassing- it should have been 5-1 with Kuyt off-- Gooners to go through. Man U were also very lucky- that was an object lesson from Roma in how to waste superb positions--Man U to consolidate in the return though. Chelsea have the strongest squad but underachieve all the time. Fenebache fight and so must Chelsea--they will get through on the away goal. Barca to muddle into the next round praying for the return of Messi. If he plays it will be Arsenal v Barcelona again.

I think Man U, Barca, Chelsea and Liverpool will prevail throught o the semi-s. I think Liverpool will overcome Chelsea for the 3rd time in as many years, then the mouth-watering prospect of Messi V Ronaldo. Barcelona will be too good for United, and eventually go on to play Liverpool in the Champions League 2008/2009 final. Barcelona will probably win the final 2-1.

Beverley Chamberlain says...

I don't think any of the teams can feel particularly comfortable. Yes Liverpool have an away goal but Arsenal r more than capable of pulling that back. Liverpool need to score first to boost themselves and put Arsernal on the back foot. Man U still need to score one in the next leg to make themselves secure and as for Chelsea, well you can't count them out but they do have a mountain to climb. If they can find the spirit & fight of 2 seasons ago they might be able to pull off ther escape of the season. I will be supporting whichever English team that gets through in Europe but my heart is with Liverpool.

George Pearson says...

United are sure to go through and i can also see barcelona having an easy time at home to schalke... Chelsea, despite being a goal down on aggregate, will produce a good display at the Bridge and come out easy winners on the night. Arsenal can get the win they need at anfield but will need to work for it... I predict an Arsenal vs. Barcelona Final because i dont see United performing well against a side such as barca... They crumbled in milan last season and barca have just as many world class players as kaka who ran them ragged.

Ervine Okuboh says...

If we play at our best and with our magnificent crowd we can overcome Arsenal, however they are a good team and will become a great team in years to come. Man Ud will probably beat Roma. Chelsea are not sure of beating Fenerbache and it would not surprise me to see them eliminated. It is too early to predict the final because the outcome of all these ties could change dramatically

Man Utd have one leg in and almost certain to meet Barcelona in the Semis.Man Utd overturned a 2-1 defeat last season in Rome in a great game at Old Traford thrashing them 7-1 and i see Chelsea doing the same to the turks. We saw what Arsenal did at the san Siro so Gerrad and company need to be most carefull at this stage.I predict a Man Utd vs Chelsea/Liverpool final.

Vikram Swali(liverpool fc fan) says...

What an away goal for Liverpool! We rode our luck but we desrerve it after Man Utd and what happened to Mascherano. That was a blatant penalty though. Kuyt was lucky but as it was at The Emirates you would expect Arsenal to have alot of the ball. Saturday will be an Arsenal win as i think Benitez will rest more players then wenger will. We can afford to lose this match anyway but it is still risky as Everton will fight us to the death. Then comes the big match on Tuesday. I expect Liverpool to start at a high tempo and take the game to Arsenal and in the end i think we will be victorius. 1-0 or 2-1. Arsenal are capable of scoring. COME ON U REDS!

It's all like a case already sealed in heaven. Man United and barca are already riding thru to semis. Chelsea have the likes of die hards as Drogba, Essien, Ballack and Terry. i am convinced that they will fight it out to a 2/3-0 win against Farnabarche and to the semis. Arsenal and liverpool is one game that's extremely difficult to predict. however, liverpool have the CL as their only chance of glory and am sure that arsenal will indeed have a rough time. the final whistle will leave arsenal licking their wounds and liverpool sail thru to the semis. i foresee a Man United vs Liverpool final in Moscow and Man United will bring home the glory. Fare well Man United.

Shandar Hasan says...

in my opinion chelsea will eventually go through after a very tough game with fenerbache as far as man utd are concern they are in the best position amongst all and in the semis they will face barca and as far as liverpool vs arsenal is concerned liverpool will go through due to the fact that rafa will rest whole bunch of his players this weekend against aresnal coz they have nothing to play for and arsene wenger can not rest any of them as they are still chasing the bpl so it will all come down to the freshness of the liverpool players against very tired arsenal players

Gautam Ganapathy says...

United will go through. I am not convinced with Barca though. Common sense should say Barca are gonna run out comfortable winners, but looking at their form at Camp Nou, It doesn seem very straight forward. I hope they go thro and that sets up a mouth watering SEMI. Chelsea will score first. Defend defend... will concede late.. Kezman to score in the stoppage time :-) Arsenal winning 1-0 at anfield.

United and Barca should be through, but it is not a certainty. If that happens what a match it will be. I thought that this game would be a perfect final this year, but im glad united are playing them at some stage, and I think they will win. This has to be United's year for the Champions League this year, after almost 10 years of wait. I just wish there would be a foreign team as opposition in the final, as it seems they will meet another English side there
