Henry: Gunners praise
Thierry Henry believes the new-look Arsenal side have what it takes to become challengers for top honours.
Henry left Arsenal for Barcelona in the summer and many tipped the young Gunners to struggle without their star striker.
However, manager Arsene Wenger has steered his side to the top of the Premier League - following a run of five wins from six games - and Henry sees no reason why his former club cannot continue to impress.
"It is their generation," Henry told TheGame pod cast at www.timesonline.co.uk.
"It is their Arsenal now and it is up to them to win stuff and with the team they have, I do not know why they wouldn't."
Henry also praised Cesc Fabregas who has been in inspired form for Arsenal so far this season.
"When you look at Cesc and the way he plays, it is like he is 30, with the way he sees the game, the way he does everything," Henry added. "His mentality is already there.
"What I love about Cesc is that he does not like to lose, he really does not like it.
"If you want to be a winner and where he is right now, then that is the right attitude and that is why he is doing what he is doing."
