Wenger: In confident mood
Arsene Wenger insists his side can now be regarded as genuine title contenders.
Arsenal came from behind at Liverpool to seal a point as Cesc Fabregas's late strike cancelled out Steven Gerrard's early free-kick.
The Gunners played some stunning football at Anfield and impressed hugely, maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.
Now Wenger is confident his side will be challenging for the Premier League crown.
"We will try, we give everything in every game and we did that again today - it was a big test but we showed tremendous quality," he told Sky Sports.
"It will be a big challenge but we will be there."
Wenger was pleased with the draw, although he did admit his side could have taken victory.
"I think that overall it was a great football game," he said.
"We had an edgy start and were punished quickly, we were a bit too nervous and punished where they are strong on set-pieces but after that is was all us.
"We took the game and it was a question of not conceding the second goal and coming back and this covers another aspect of my team that they are ready for a challenge and will never give up.
"When you play away form home and are one-nil down and against a team who is good on counter-attack and set-pieces, with 20 minutes to go you would take a point but we had enough chances to win the game.
"We have players who are very good technically and at some stage in the game it will come."
