Alexander Hleb is set to be rewarded for an immaculate start to the season by being offered fresh terms at Arsenal.

The Belarusian winger has been in scintillating form for Arsene Wenger's side this term and his current paymasters are eager to tie him down long-term to Emirates Stadium.

Hleb, a £10million signing from Stuttgart in 2005, has in the past been accused of promising more than he actually delivers, but this term he has emerged as a key man in North London.

And if Arsenal do as expected make a move to secure Hleb on a long-term deal, it seems that they will likely receive a positive response.

"Alex is very comfortable at Arsenal. If you play in a great team like that and for a manager like Arsene Wenger, and when you have the opportunity to play with so much fun and to win titles, you can imagine that Alex would want to stay at that place for a long time," Hleb's agent Uli Ferber told the Evening Standard.
