Neville: Not good news
Manchester United captain Gary Neville has suffered yet another setback in his comeback from injury.
The 32-year-old right-back, who has been out of action since breaking his ankle in March, made his long awaited return for the reserves at the start of November.
He played almost an hour in the 6-1 drubbing of Stockport County on that occasion, and despite scoring an own goal things had looked up for the England international.
But he aggravated a calf complaint in training on Sunday and has now been ruled out of United's UEFA Champions League encounter with Dynamo Kiev live on Sky Sports 2 from 6pm on Wednesday.
Wes Brown has provided ample cover in the backline so far, but Sir Alex Ferguson admits the news is a blow to his side.
"Unfortnately he's got a little calf strain again, which is a real dampener for the boy and for us," he told Sky Sports News.
"I don't think it's a long one, but it's just the fact that he needs to get his season on the road. This is a setback."
United can secure qualification with a win though, and Owen Hargreaves is also on course to make his European debut for the club in the match at Old Trafford.
