Rijkaard admits Drogba interest

Barca boss hints at Drogba bid

Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard has admitted he would consider an attempt to sign Didier Drogba.

The Chelsea forward has been rumoured to be a long-term target of the Catalan giants and Rijkaard has now confessed he would be interested in a move for the Ivorian.

However, Rijkaard insists he would not allow star striker Samuel Eto'o to move in the other direction in any possible swap deal in the summer.

"Eto'o is a player in our team and he performs very well for us," said Rijkaard. "For that reason I don't see a swap deal.

"If Barca have the possibility of signing a player like Drogba we would have to look at it, but we wouldn't do a swap."
