Ramos: Unhappy with Cole tackle
Tottenham boss Juande Ramos felt Ashley Cole was lucky to escape a red card during the thrilling 4-4 draw with Chelsea.
Cole's tackle on Alan Hutton caused controversy as the England international caught the Spurs full-back with a high challenge.
The incident provoked outrage among the players and both benches with Spurs calling for a sending off for Cole, while Blues boss Avram Grant had to be restrained after accusing Hutton of exaggerating the foul.
Cole was given a yellow card by referee Mike Riley and the row appeared to carry on as the players went down the tunnel at the break.
Ramos felt the tackle warranted a red card and felt Cole was fortunate to stay on the pitch.
"In this case the referee decided it was a yellow card but we've seen tackles that were much less serious given red cards," said Ramos.
Meanwhile, Spurs' assistant manager Gus Poyet felt it was a 'great game' of football after the hosts started with the same XI which had beaten Chelsea in the Carling Cup final.
Poyet told Sky Sports: "We say it was a great game of football for every single one at White Hart Lane, except really for the two goalkeepers.
"It was a strange game. We were always behind and chasing the game, having chances, but chasing all the time.
"Every time we come back, Chelsea were going on and scoring again.
"At the end we nearly nicked three points, it was a great save from Carlo (Cudicini, who denied Dimitar Berbatov).
"It was important to show we keep believing we can play and try to win the games. It doesn't matter the score, and it doesn't matter the opposition."
